Burns began her television career in 1995 when she joined in the cast of the Spanish-American teen sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Later, she played a role in Baywatch: Hawaii which was the sequel of the Baywatch action series. Burns left Baywatch due to her pregnancies.
